Mikey Williams' Plea Deal: What Does This Mean for His Future?

Numerous sources state that Memphis basketball signee Mikey Williams entered a guilty plea on Thursday over an earlier this year gunshot that took place outside his home in California.

Williams, 19, pled guilty to one count of making threats against illegal activities. According to San Diego's FOX 5, Williams will be sentenced on August 12, 2024.

Williams entered a guilty plea, and the station stated that in addition to 80 hours of community service, he must complete anger management and guns safety seminars before his sentencing date. When it's over, the charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor. A 10-year prohibition from owning firearms will also apply to Williams' record, according to NBC San Diego.
