“Tesla Finds a Home for Unsold Cybertrucks — Inside Elon Musk’s Own Empire”🚨🚨🚨
Tesla’s Cybertruck, once hyped as the “apocalypse-proof” vehicle destined to dominate the EV market, is struggling to find buyers. According to Business Insider citing Cox Automotive data, Tesla sold fewer than 5,400 Cybertrucks in the U.S. last quarter — bringing 2025 sales to roughly 16,000 units, a sharp 63% drop from a year ago.
Even as Tesla achieved record overall deliveries, boosted by the expiration of the $7,500 federal EV tax credit, Cybertruck sales have been heading in the opposite direction. Production has since been scaled back, leaving the company with a growing inventory of unsold stainless-steel trucks.
Instead of letting them sit idle, Elon Musk has found a creative workaround: sending Cybertrucks to his other companies. According to Electrek, Tesla has begun delivering the vehicles to xAI, Musk’s artificial intelligence startup, and SpaceX, where the EVs are being used to replace gasoline-powered support vehicles.
The move highlights the interconnected ecosystem of Musk’s ventures — and underscores how “circular deals” within the billionaire’s own network keep resources, products, and capital flowing in-house.
