“Novo, Lilly Shares Slide After Trump Pledges Cuts to “Fat-Loss Drug” Pricing” 🚨🚨🚨

Shares of Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly fell late Thursday and extended losses into Friday’s pre-market session after President Trump announced plans to lower the cost of “the fat loss drug.”

Trump said GLP-1 medications — including Novo’s Ozempic — would soon cost under $150 out of pocket, though Dr. Mehmet Oz, head of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, clarified that no official agreements have been finalized yet.

The administration has been in talks with pharmaceutical companies to reduce drug costs across the U.S. At present, the popular weight-loss treatments from Lilly and Novo typically run $300 to $500 per month when purchased directly through company programs.
